Advisory Committee
MoCP is governed by the Board of Directors of Columbia College Chicago, but interacts most expressly through the MoCP Advisory Committee, a group of distinguished artists, collectors and patrons from the Columbia Board of Directors, the Chicago community, and beyond. The founders, Sonia Bloch, the late Arnold Gilbert, Jack Jaffe, John Mulvany, Richard S. Press, and the late David C. Ruttenberg all remained closely connected to the Museum throughout its life, with three founders continuing to serve actively on the Advisory Committee. The history of the Museum is marked by the loyalty it inspires, as well as the exciting new relationships within the community it endeavors to make.
