<p>The second concert of <span class="caps">ICE&#8217;</span>s new series at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago spotlights the tight-knit virtuosity of the ensemble&#8217;s ineffable flute section: Claire Chase and Eric Lamb. Focusing on music rarely heard in the United States, the performers will offer a program of Chicago premieres featuring new flute works by Phillipe Hurel (France), Dominik Karski (Poland), Kaija Saariaho (Finland) and Marcelo Toledo (Argentina).</p>

<p>Daniel Dixon (b. 1925) son of Dorothea Lange and painter Maynard Dixon, along with his wife Dixie, will give an audio-visual presentation on Lange&#8217;s life and work. Dixon, a writer, traveled and worked with his mother later in her career including on the series <em>Three Mormon Towns</em>,  on which they also collaborated with Ansel Adams. Selections from this series are included in the MoCP&#8217;s exhibition.<br />
