About The Event

See the striking work of Dammeyer Fellow Ervin A. Johnson in his final exhibition. #InHonor is a series of photo-based mixed media portraits made to honor Blackness as it exists in its various forms. More specifically it speaks to the violence and destruction occurring across America, in the form of police brutality.

The Diane Dammeyer Fellowship in Photographic Arts and Social Issues is a unique collaboration between the Photography department at Columbia College Chicago and Heartland Alliance, a leading global anti-poverty organization.
