Go Down Moses curator Teju Cole will give a public lecture about his various photographic practices. Drawing on his experiences as a photographer, critic, teacher, curator and juror, Cole will consider the ways we assess pictures and the possibilities for photography in a time of image excess.

Lectures in Photography are co-presented by MoCP and the Photography Department at Columbia College Chicago.  This lecture is part of Columbia's Collective Impact series. Collective Impact explores community engagement and social justice in art making through a series of visiting artists and performers. Learn more here.
