Jim DeRogatis and Jessica Hopper will discuss some of the
over-looked and off-the-beaten-path subjects referenced in
Schmelling’s work as well as some traditions and legacies
in Chicago music. Jim DeRogatis is an author, music critic,
co-host of the radio program Sound Opinions, and full-time
lecturer at Columbia College Chicago. Jessica Hopper is the
Senior Editor of The Pitchfork Review.
