Join us for The Shadow, the opening reception of Viviane Sassen: UMBRA.
Experts from a variety of disciplines will discuss ways in which the idea of the shadow figures into their professional practice. Enjoy presenations from Sassen; Mary Dougherty, Jungian psychoanalyst, art psychotherapist and President of the Jung Institute of Chicago; Dr. Andrew Johnson, Vice President of Astronomy and Collections at the Adler Planetarium; Maryse Meijer,Chicago-based author of Heartbreaker Maryse Meijer; and Myra Su, a narrative artist specializing in storytelling through puppetry and live theater.
