About the Exhibition

Aziz + Cucher  (Untied States, born 1961 and Venezuela born Peru 1958) are a collaborative team engaged in new forms of representation thorough the use of digital technology. The dual portraits of Maria and George (1994) present hermetically sealed faces – faces without eyes, mouths or nostrils – that undermine the familiar genre of photographic portraiture.
